The room was gorgeous with great views, the bed was very comfortable, the food was great - both the "light" supper and the breakfast, the other guests were friendly and interesting, and the host, Annie, was thoroughly charming. A great stay!

Clune House B&B, hotel in Dalwhinnie

Set in Newtonmore, Clune House B&B has 3 en-suite guest bedrooms. All have flat-screen TVs and a tea and coffee tray. Each room comes with ample wardrobe space and a desk.

What a lovely stay! The room was clean, comfortable, extremely well appointed with a comfy couch and plenty of space to relax. The attention to detail was just great, soft towels, toiletries, iron, coffee Nespresso machine, kettle, fridge, water/juices/milk/snacks, earplugs, very thoughtful. Fabulous choice for breakfast, cereal/juices/fresh fruit/pastries/muffins/croissants, with a wide variety of beautifully presented hot dishes. Full Scottish was braw! Ideal private parking off the main road, in a lovely garden and a send-off from the ducks. The owners/hosts have created a very stylish B&B and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thanks Bryan. (Shoes-off rule, quite right. Take your slippers/slipper-socks/socks without holes in the toe!)

The Old School Hostel was clean, comfortable and well equipped. As reflects its type, it was fairly basic, but I found everything I needed in the circumstances. Parking was easy, but had I chosen to arrive by rail, the station was just a few yards away.

Well equipped kitchen that can be used for self catering. Log burning stove gave a nice welcome when coming in from the 'sometime inclement' Scottish weather. Huge flat screen TV with full Sky service including Sport. Additional screens in rooms. Ample parking. Railway line 50 metres away.
