Liz was so friendly, the welcome basket was amazing home made bread, eggs from her chickens and honey from her bees. The cottage itself was spotless and had everything you could possibly need, a covered decking area and a fenced garden out the back, my only disappointment is that we didn’t stay longer we will definitely go back if travelling to Scotland again. The view is incredible! Completely unobstructed views of hills and water. The design of the lodge is great to maximise living space and to have three good sized bedrooms. Great place to stay with our young family. Parking right by the lodge so easy to bring things in/out. There is also a little spa shop a few minutes walk away. Would certainly stay again.
I am absolutely delighted with this three-bedroom apartment and will definitely recommend it to my friends. The property was very clean, well-organized, and had a breathtaking view. Although I had a bit of trouble finding the accommodation after parking, Mike was very kind and guided me over the phone. I highly recommend this place without hesitation!
This is a little gem of an apartment. Right from walking through the door we knew we were going to enjoy it. The hosts were really lovely and so accommodating. They worked extra hard to make sure the hot tub was ready for us and went out of their way to make us feel at home. They had fresh bread/fruit/milk etc ready for us. The location was great for us, with plenty of parking space. It was good value compared to what else was on offer and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else after experiencing the kind hospitality.
The location of Culbokie Lodges is superb. Beautiful views. The free parking was good and the directions were spot on as well. The Shepherd's hut was well kitted out apart from the bed settee was not a bed settee.
Everything was great, comfortable and perfect for us. All on ground level, parking immediately outside door, spotless, everything needed for breakfast supplied, helpful owner. we would recommend this property to others.
