That the Excellent Spa could be used for several hours after the checkout time was a bonus. The room was reasonable value even without the included Spa use. The restaurant is always excellent and the staff are attentive. A good place to meet business guests.

Everything was superb from the moment we arrived. Clare was very tentative and extremely helpful and even messaged us to let us know where extra logs for the burner were. We will most definitely be back.......absolutely glorious stay and would recommend to those parents that wish to escape their teenagers for an evening.

The room was a good size with tea and coffee, TV and hair dryer available. The beds were comfy and the shower was very good with plenty of hot water. Parking was available for free on site, as this is a pub the car park can get busy but we always managed to find somewhere to park. The breakfast was plentiful with a good choice of cooked food from the menu or cereals and yoghurts from the self service table along with fruit juices. The free WiFi in the pub was really good and very fast.

The location was good - easy to get to and plenty of free parking. The room came with breakfast - help yourself to cereal, juices and fruit and a cooked breakfast - various choices cooked to order. The room was comfortable and the Inn itself was a traditional style Pub which is always nice.

Just needed somewhere to sleep before photographing a wedding next day. The Wheatsheaf was the cheapest place around and at least had free parking. Was warmly welcomed and shown to my room. Explanation was given over door codes once the pub shuts, wifi password, breakfast times and how to work the bedroom door lock (it was fiddly!) Room itself was basic, but clean. Fine for the one night on my own but I wouldn't have wanted to stay longer.
