Excellent breakfast. I could not fault it. Good shower. Firm bed and comfortable. Kathy was a fine host. She went the extra mile to recommend restaurants providing their post codes and telephone numbers etc. The refrigerator on the landing was ideal for storing my packed lunches. Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Both Wendy and Graham were so friendly and very attentive without being too much. There really is not a single negative I could mention. Such a wonderful location, the hut itself has everything you could need, the shower was spacious, the bed was oh so comfortable and the decking was beautiful to sit out on both during the day and at night with the fire pit going strong. Already booked for another break away!

Lovely friendly staff, really comfortable bed and excellent food.
The room was huge and had lots of character.
Nice location with plenty to see and lots of local shops.
Handy parking on site
Interesting place - old period property with quirky nooks & crannies & the odd old suit of armour lurking on the wide staircase. parts of the hotel were obviously ancient & tall guests need to beware of the occasional low-flying doorway.
Car parking is adequate but access & manoeuvring was a bit tight.
The staff were very friendly and the service was good.
The quality of food was good and the menus gave a nice selection of options.
The down side is the car parking but we resorted to the local car parks for ease of access.
