It was quirky, original and in a magical setting. The host made us feel very welcome, offered a tour around the castle and gave us some local history. She ensured we had all we needed including setting up the fire pit when we decided we would like to catch the atmosphere of the evening. Caroline and George were amazing with all the explanations about the attractions in the area and Jumbo (the pony) was the star of the farm.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Had literally everything you need, beautiful 16th century cottage, easy access, all amenities needed, easy parking, right next to shop and the bell pub.
The welcome was exceptional with tours around the farm and even a lift to the local pub for food.
Undercover, and out of sight, parking for the motorbikes was much appreciated.
The breakfast was superb with good cooked and continental options.
