The owner had provided everything we needed such as bin bags, washing materials, tin foil and plenty of loo roll- which you dont always get. The owner was very friendly and allowed us free reign of the property, access to the fruit growing in the allotment and even brought us homemade scones and cream when we arrived.

An absolutely perfect location right at the foot of the country park so brilliant for walks, especially if you have a dog like us. Dean and Georgie were fantastic hosts, really genuine people who made us feel so welcome and have a good laugh! The cottage was bigger than expected, we really enjoyed the log burners which were nice to sit by. Great unexpected touches such as a wide choice of Radox bubbles for the bath, a lovely welcome basket in the kitchen with an advent calendar, my son enjoyed opening a door each morning during our stay. :) The cottage was very clean, and the beds super comfortable. It was decorated nicely for Christmas too!
