I felt comfortable and relaxed here straight away.
The pub and restaurant are so cosy and atmospheric, with lots of different sitting areas.
I noticed all the lovely, good quality prints and pictures, a lot of them with maritime themes, on the walls. The woodwork everywhere is beautiful.
The outside areas also look great for a good day, with fantastic views, but the weather was too rainy for sitting there during my stay.
The food was really good.
My room was spacious, comfy, cosy and clean.
The place was a breath of fresh air and welcome relaxing respite, after staying a few days in a row in much less comfortable accommodation, and the price was reasonable, too.
I would love to stay here again.

Really comfortable room in a quiet location, with street parking available just outside which was perfectly safe. Loved the modern decor and fab to have a smart tv to watch after a long day exploring. Convenient to travel around the Wirral or to Liverpool via bus or train. Easy check in and great communication from the hosts, thank you!

This is a compact, but comfortable house in a safe neighbourhood in Liverpool. We stayed 6 nights and were comfortable all through. The hosts Julian and Kayla were amazing. As soon as the booking was confirmed we received a warm message from them introducing themselves and guiding us through the check in process.
We locked ourselves out of the house one evening and they were most kind and accommodated us by sharing a duplicate key for us to let ourselves in.
The bedrooms (2 of them) are well proportioned and work well for couples. The 3rd bedroom is a tad small with only a single cot, best used by a child.
The house has a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary utensils and a washing machine. It’s well stocked with cleaning products, extra trash bags, toilet paper and all other necessities.
Parking was easily available on the street and was free. Never had an issue finding a spot to park the car.
Several supermarkets and convenience stores around - less than a mile away from the house. Plenty of decent restaurants around as well. A drive to Liverpool 1 from the house takes just 10 mins - approx £10 by cab.
Would definitely stay again if we visit Liverpool.
Thank you Julian and Kayla.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
What did we like: the size of the room, the twin beds, the cleanliness, the quiet environment, the friendly waiter, the atmosphere of an other era, the food, ample parking.
The property is quite large, located a bit on the outskirts and surrounded by vegetation.
As a suggestion, the whole house might benefit from a change of flooring. The carpets might be good in terms of sound insulation, but a nice wooden floor would enhance the overall impression.
The location is great and parking is available on site. The rooms are a great size and the hotel is really well presented for Christmas, decorations are lovely. The housekeeping staff do a good job and the maintenance guy I dealt with was great too. Reception staff also helpful
Nicely tucked away from main road, nice sized bedrooms and well equipped with everything you’d expect.Plenty storage also.Plenty parking and easy to connect to WiFi.
