We had a different room to last time. This room had a double bed and we are used to bigger beds, so I found it a bit uncomfortable. Everything else was fine, especially the breakfast. Lush. The parking facility is also fantastic.

We went for my daughter's wedding. It's such a wonderful venue. Sarah and her staff were absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. It was my second visit. I had been the previous year for afternoon tea. Such a beautiful place with stunning views. The rooms are beautifully furnished and so comfortable. The whole experience was wonderful. Nigel was friendly and welcoming answered our questions about the area. The lodge was comfortable all we needed a nice outside area if we needed. It. Easy to get to sea front with lots to do. Can get a bus to Whitsable another good day out.

The suite I had booked was small and cosy and absolutely tidy, with a comfortable bed and no noises to be heard in the bedroom at night. In the bathroom, there was a rainfall shower and a sufficient number of towles of all sizes, as well as different kinds of products, like soap and shampoo. Check-in was easy and Laura was very helpful, when there was a problem.
Number 8 is close to the High Street, so you have all kinds of shops, restaurants, tea rooms and coffee places nearby. And it is only a five minutes walk to Canterbury Cathedral.

Very spacious bathroom, clean decor, off street parking easy to find a spot. The internet was speedy and the big flat screen TV with Netflix was great. The host left toiletries for us to use and the towels were a very good size.
