Perfect stay at The Lion — the room was spacious, clean, in keeping with the age of the pub, and bed was very comfortable. The food was really great - we had dinner and breakfast and both were superb. The steak pie was delicious! Mark was such a great host. He helped organise a taxi to the wedding we were going to which was a big help. We’d love to come back one day.

Exceptionally welcoming hosts, Ed and Hester, who treated you like family into their home which is set atop a hill with panoramic views of the glorious countryside. Nothing was too much trouble.
