The staff were so lovely and welcoming, even to our two furry friends. Although it’s above the local bar, it was peaceful. The bar closes at 10pm which was perfect.

Very comfortable room and beds, delicious breakfast, but more importantly, Lorraine and Ian are just the BEST hosts !! They very kindly did some laundry for us (as we are walking the Coast Path) and dropped us off/picked us up after dinner and dropped me off to restart my walk the next morning. They are wonderful and I would highly recommend anyone to stay at their lovely property.

Breakfast was fantastic - Jen is a great host! Room was really comfortable and clean and had a wonderful view of the bay! Off-road parking was also a real benefit. And a choice of five pubs in the villages all within an easy walk.

This is remarkable place to stay - at the water's edge on a promontory across the river from Plymouth, in a former military fort. The apartment is only yards from the waves and has everything you need, including a balcony and allocated parking. Highly recommended.
Well stocked with everything we needed. Just perfect for the beach. Although no parking at the property, the public car park was just a stones throw away. The whole place was spacious but did still maintained a cottage feel. We loved it!
Location was perfect just outside the village with a superb view. Excellent parking. Breakfast was very well prepared and tasty our host made sure everything was just right. Also her excellent knowledge of the local area was invaluable.
On a side note, many others that attended the same event as us used air B&B 100% of them wished they had used a traditional B&B as getting breakfast was difficult at best in this part of the world.

Easy distance to the coastal footpath for walks. We were there for a wedding at Polhawn Fort and this was a great distance for that!

It’s about 20min walk into Cawsand along the country lane or less than 5 minute drive with cheap car parks in town.
Jenny was so friendly & helpful. Breakfast was excellent & set us up for the day. The room was spacious, comfortable, quiet and the shower was great. Parking was great because i have had trouble parking around the bays on previous visits staying elsewhere.
everything was perfect, the accommodation is beautifully designed and furnished, it is flawless, the location private and peaceful, the welcome pack was a real treat and set the scene for an amazing break, private and more importantly secure overnight parking too, this is a really special part of Cornwall, a great place to go walking with a stunning coastline. we will be back for more Sunnyside !!
