Once the host had shown me the hut's amenities, and left me with a few suggestions for evening meal options, I was already feeling at home and comfortably enjoyed the peaceful vibes and gorgeous views. Parking was very easy and within a few steps to shepherd's hut entrance.

Wow, what a lovely place. Beautiful location, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Bottle of wine left on the side for us was a lovely touch. Lots of useful items including tea bags, shower gel, washing tablets and even kitchen foil. Excellent communication and instructions from the host. Easy to find, great parking and only 10 minutes form Alton Towers. Highly recommended, we will definitely come back here next time we take a trip to Alton Towers.

The cottage was absolutely gorgeous! The bottle of wine was a nice touch too 😌 Very close to Alton Towers so it made our days out easier to get to. The beds were very comfy and spacious too Although parking wasn't obvious, the instructions left by the host made it easy to find. We definitely would've stayed longer if we wanted to as it was a very lovely getaway cottage.
