Lovely bed and great breakfast. The lady who helped us clearly has excellent design sense, as the bedroom was beautifully decorated with pillow and runner in a lovely thistle pattern. She was friendly and informative. If we ever come back this way, we'll stay here again.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable, the self-service breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly. There was a small supermarket next door. I didn't manage to get in the car park but there is a free public car park within a few yards of the hotel and some easy street parking too. Would use again.
The location was superb as it is located along the main road. It is also very close to major tourist attractions. There was ample free parking space behind the hotel. Breakfast was nice with ample selections to choose from.
Castle Town Hotel is an attractive hotel with great free parking, a nice pub, good food, and excellent service. I am glad I stayed there. When I arrived earlier in the day, I was able to stretch my legs and walk down to the harbor. I saw all of the incredible flagstone on the seashore and looked at old buildings left from when Castletown made its fortune in exporting the flagstone.
We really enjoyed all aspects of our stay - the staff were incredibly friendly, we were impressed with how modern, comfortable and clean our rooms were. Both dinner and breakfast were great, and we appreciated the off-street parking.
Decent sized room for 1 person. Very comfortable mattress and pillow. Early breakfast time available if needed. Great evening meal with plenty of choice on menu. Friendly staff. Homely feel. Has car park but street parking available if car park full. Easy to get to Thurso or John O'Groats. Good value for money.
Rooms are clean and facilities provided are good. The off street parking with specific motorcycle bay is well thought out and appreciated. The food on offer was plentiful and good quality with a reasonable selection of beverages. Helpful friendly staff
