The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Gave us a cream tea just after we arrived. The hotel is quite a walk up the hill but worth it for the views and quiet. Our room was spacious and clean. The breakfasts were delicious and you could tell were made with quality produce. I even got to swim in the pool .

Lovely country pub in a quiet village. The room was small, but had a comfortable bed, plenty of hot water for the shower, and nice biscuits!

I have stayed at Trewthewey three times now. Bob is a great host. Breakfast is delicious. My bedroom is spacious and the location just right for going into Fowey and touring Cornwall.

The property and hosts are superb. We could not fault the cleanliness and attention to detail. Breakfast was also delightful. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Rockleigh Place to anyone wanting to visit The Eden Project or some of the lovely locations around the area.

The property is exceptional and has fantastic views across the surrounding area including coast line. The house and multiple garden areas is very well equipped. Very private and secure with electric gates and large parking area.
This was our second visit, so I think that speaks volumes. Charlotte is lovely and very responsive to questions. We love the house, the location and the easy parking. I'm sure we'll be back.

Fantastic location, walking distance to Carlyon Bay beach, South Coastal path, Charlestown harbour, and large supermarkets. A short drive to attractions such as Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan and Lanhydrock. House is clean with decent kitchen, large living space and ample parking. Travel cot and booster seat for small children also provided.
Really lovely property, large well furnished rooms, good garden and plenty of parking space, close to the Eden Project, beaches, and National Trust properties, good location for touring.
The location was perfect for the things we wanted to do. The house was spotlessly clean with everything we needed. There were two families staying with ample parking for both cars. The house was cosy and modern with lovely decor. A bargain price too for our little birthday weekend retreat. Great little cafe/bar opposite that served the best breakfast and close to the beach, Eden project, St Austell and the beautiful Charlestown. Would recommend this property highly. Really lovely, comfortable, clean and well equipped house in a quiet area. Easy parking, and very close to the beach. Charlotte went out of her way to make our stay special, with so many very thoughtful touches including a lovely welcome pack, toiletries and fresh flowers. Being able to stay a bit later than expected on the last morning was the icing on the cake of a wonderful weekend
House has everything to make your holiday go smoothly. Garden is lovely size with mature shrubs. Communication with owner was excellent. House was clean , towels and bedding good quality , all white goods very clean. Bathroom with shower over bath very good . Parking on long driveway alongside the house. Easy to travel from to visit other parts of Cornwall. Good pubs and cafes close by . Quiet area no disturbance at night. Lots of positive’s.
Beautifully presented home with a thoughtful welcome pack and easy instructions to gain access to the property. Communication was very prompt and care was taken to ensure our check-in was smooth. Loads of room for children to run around in the yard and for parking off street. Easy walking distance to the gorgeous beach and only several minutes away from Eden Project and other areas of interest.
