Very friendly staff. Good location for us. Even though on main road, very little noise. Good breakfast. Room dark as very old building with small window and very thick walls. Recommended

The cabin is gorgeous, comfy and cosy. There was towels, a heated drying rack, cold milk and water in the fridge as well as tea, coffee pods add machine and crossiants butter and jam. The views are stunning and the hot tub which is very private, and the projector completely made our trip. Loved it! Super friendly hosts aswell who were on hand when we needed them but left us to our privacy too.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Convenient and safe accommodation with adjacent parking for an older solo traveller with slight mobility difficulties. The host was welcoming and helpful. The apartment was warm and cosy on a very cool June evening. It suited my needs entirely.
Everything!
We arrived early as we were just having a look to see where it is, Paddy and Racheal were so friendly and welcoming and let us book in before we went off exploring.
I fell in love with the place as soon as we walked in, so cosy and spotlessly clean.
Everything you need is there and a lovely welcome basket with bread, crisps, biscuits, tea and even had my herbal tea I drink.
It’s set in a beautiful area, parking right out the front.
Rachael & Paddy are wonderful hosts - so friendly and hospitable, as well as ensuring that you have everything you need for your stay, including a generous welcome pack of goodies. Linden Retreat is so well equipped with a lovely comfortable bed, with great quality bed linen and towels. It also has everything you need to cook for yourselves if you want to and it is a great location to relax and enjoy the wonderful views from the patio. Parking right beside the Retreat is great as it makes unloading/loading the car so convenient.
Lovely modern, clean, private apartment. Free on site parking (albeit a bit tricky). Hosts live in house next door, but friendly welcome and not intrusive.
The studio was comfortable, cosy and warm. It had everything we needed in terms of kitchen equipment, although a small grater for cheese would have been handy. Liz welcomed us to the property and was at the end of a phone if we needed her. We liked the location of the property, with plenty of walks locally and lots of helpful maps and guides in the property. Stroud was much more interesting than we expected and the Museum in the Park was excellent(free parking to boot) We hope to return.
