Great location close to town. Parking was on the street but always found parking spots close by. Very comfortable room has lots of little extras like cheeses, bread milk, juice, yogurt etc. Also has little microwave, fridge,toaster and kettle. There are also usb points for your phone in the power points beside bed which is great. We loved the big thick fluffy towels as all the places we have stayed at on our holiday were small and the swivel magnifying mirror just like I have at home was so wonderful to see.

The Wheatsheaf is a traditional, unpretentious English "boozer", with animated and friendly staff and customers. Quiet, compact room away from the main building; warm and very clean. Reserved car parking on the pub forecourt very much appreciated, oh and enjoying a pint in the bar with the locals!
We had booked as we were going to a wedding locally. The owner was really accommodating in allowing us early access to our rooms to change before normal checking-in time. The rooms were super clean and really well equipped with anything you may need including fresh milk in an accessible fridge for teas and coffee and complementary sherry!
