One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
We stayed four nights in Bowmore in a small but very complete bedroom with perfect shiower. Perfectly cleaned each day and hygienic. We were very well looked after by Birgit & Joerg in the morning with an excellent breakfast. A wide choice of breakfast selections. Perfectly located in the centre of Bowmore and always parking naar the front door.

Check-in staff friendly and helpful, and location is ideally central in Bowmore, with convenient parking, tourist information and shops nearby. We had fairly spacious room with a good bathroom and beautiful views out over the bay. The overall decorationon of the hotel is very tasteful with lots of nice Scottish details.
This accommodation is lovely; Scottish stylish and comfortable with high ceilings and lots of natural light. Immaculate condition and in the heart of the main town Bowmore. parking on the street right out front. Choose from restaurants within walking distance including the distillery down the street. Host is lovely and very accommodating. Great communication. Highly recommended.

Immaculately clean bedroom, exeptionally friendly host who visited to make sure everything was to our liking (no staff on site permanently) Roomy en suite with shampoo etc. Plenty of tea/coffee/milks and biscuits!
Excellent communication for check in. Highly recommend this charming Lodge right in the heart of Bowmore. Plenty of on street parking, quaint coffee shop directly across the street and the best of Islay right at your fingertips. Room was well stocked and fully appointed with top finishes. Room was way larger than expected with a comfortable bed and modern, clean bathroom. This would be my first choice for accommodations on Islay.
Immaculate accomodation, spacious and beautifully appointed. Coral (manager) was lovely and friendly. Parking was on street, but right by the building and never had a problem getting a space. Great position for walking into town, just a few minutes, although there's a bar just around the corner, co-op 2 mins away and Bowmore distillery 5 minutes away. Great security (not that you need to worry on Islay) I could go on!
Excellent location - just a short walk to Bowmore Distillery, restaurants, harbour, Coop etc. Recently renovated building, rooms spotlessly clean, beds very comfortable, totally quiet at night as the bathrooms are at the front of the building, hence bedrooms at the back. Plenty of electrical sockets, towels/toiletries/coffee/tea/biscuits supplied. Free parking in the street just in front of the door.
Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good with lots of choices, although no fresh fruit. The evening meal was reasonably priced at an acceptable quality. Conveniently situated in the centre of town and within walking distance of the Bowmore distillery. Free parking was available on the street outside the hotel.
