Brilliant location for a stay in Portree. Our room quite possible had the best view of anywhere in the town. The room was comfortable. Parking across the road was terrific.

Well I have to say Bracken Hide is way overpriced for what it delivers . The restaurant and Whiskey Bar are amazing . I would def recommend to anyone to go there for a meal . Accomodation pods small and quite a walk to restaurant / breakfast in inclement weather

Was a great base to explore the island. The hotel staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Great to come back, relax with a drink (full licensed bar), and enjoy a really nice meal. The breakfast, while continental, was substantial and well catered for all needs. Would definitely recommend this wonderful find.

The property was very clean and comfortable with a beautiful view. Thoughtful extras were provided like home made cake in the room upon our arrival, milk, juice, cereals, teas, coffee and hot chocolate. Plus an amazing breakfast cooked by Vicky each morning who was a great host and also provided us with handy travel recommendations for our trip.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Detailed description how to find the house was sent before arrival. Good WiFi, good parking. Good heating. Comfortable beds. Cleanliness. Free coffee, tea, milk.
The breakfast was nicely prepared and good quality and quantity: Bread, salami, cheese, butter, jam, sweet cakes, orange juice, mix of fruits.
The host was flexible to prepare the breakfast for 7 o'clock (instead of usual 8).
