A super breakfast, freshly prepared and with good variety. The evening meal was most enjoyable. Nigel is a superb cook and rightly proud of the food he prepares. Our hosts, Joan and Nigel were very friendly and helpful. Our bedroom was spacious with a comfortable bed and very welcome shower and bath with abundant hot water. We made good use of the cosy lounge after dinner.
We hope to return on our next visit to Lancashire.

A lovely quiet hotel and an idyllic village. Accomodation was spacious, clean and warm. All members of staff we met were wonderfully friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, the bar had interesting local ales and we ate in the restaurant one evening - not as expensive as we had thought but excellent with some local cheeses.

The location on Pendle Hill is indeed stunning! The little cottage is very cosy and comfy and spotlessly clean. The bed is also very comfortable. I felt very happy staying here, and would definitely come back.
There is a lot of attention to detail, and the owners, Kerry and David, are so friendly and helpful.
I visited the area for a personal reason, and Kerry's kind words helped to make an already lovely stay extra special.
The property is quite far away from too much light pollution, and watching the night sky from the little patio at the back of it was wonderful.
