The house is in a great location to easily get to both Chesterfield and Mansfield, even Sheffield. There was always on street parking available close to the property too. The street was very quiet and the surrounding area is nice, we would definitely book again.

Lovely place. lovely people. Our room was spotlessly clean, well decorated and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable and had tea, coffee and bottled water. Really good spacious bathroom with walk in shower. Water took a little while to heat up but when it did it was nice an hot. Continental breakfast was very good - plenty of toast, crumpets, cereals, yoghurt, croissants, fruit, cake, fruit juice, tea and coffee. Better than many hotels we have stayed in, and quite a lot cheaper too.

Close to an event we were attending, easy to locate. Had a bar, garden seating and a restaurant. Spotless room , nicely decorated and a shower room with a heated towel rail.

350 year old pub with 3 rooms upstairs with lovely old beams, rooms recently renovated to a great standard. We had Lavender room, loads of space, bed comfortable, we had everything we needed, parking next to pub in their yard. Food in the pub was amazing and all the staff really friendly.
Beautiful newly furnished rooms. Good and convenient food in the restaurant. Lovely breakfast. Great stopover which we will use again. The staff were incredibly helpful especially with three of our party arriving late. Some parking next to Inn. Some free parking opposite. Very close to the castle which is well worth a visit.
