It was a wonderful stay from the moment you arrive through the gate, go along the drive passing rhododendron and camelia on either side. Then approach the house and park up outside the front and look out over the garden across a small valley. It has a special feeling, to return (home) back to such accommodation at the end of each day after visiting the surrounding area. The inside of the house will not disappoint in its history and comfort, along with the friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts, Lucy and George. Thank you. Excellent : The peace and quiet was lovely and relaxing. The scenery was beautiful. The hosts where friendly and quick to help if we needed them. whilst leaving us to do our own thing. The lodge was very clean and spacious and had everything you could possibly need. A real home away from home.
