Fabulous time at Waltzing Weasel. Carol was a fantastic host - lovely breakfast, very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Appreciated the little thoughtful touches - lots of coffee, tea, milk etc and even a little fridge outside the room if it ran out. Good big car park. The view from our room was stunning. Great location - beautiful scenery and Hayfield village only a 10 min or so walk with another really nice pub Sycamore Inn in the other direction. The bed was soooo comfy! Thank you to all at Waltzing Weasel!

Plenty of parking, Carol was a warm, welcoming host who helped us with her local knowledge of the area. 1.6 miles to beginning of Kinder Scout hike that we were doing so within walking distance of that. The room was spacious and warm with lovely views over the countryside. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of tea/coffee/hot chocolate sachets with the option of fresh milk from fridge in corridor if you're not keen on little sachets. A very warm, welcoming environment so very happy to recommend.

Lovely facilities, clean, tidy. Excellent varied breakfast and prepared to mix and match to suite. We were a part of 6 and the owner assisted with the parking of our car and trailer then ran 4 of us to our evening meal booking locally. Superb service. Well recommended for the price. Thank you.

Carol was a a great hostess and kept us laughing. We enjoyed the location as well as the Lamb Inn where Carol recommended we eat. The room was comfortable and clean. Carol made us a delicious breakfast--the "smaller breakfast" was more than sufficient! It was also nice that there was ample room for free parking on site.

This gem of a BnB is one nobody should overlook if staying in the area. A warm friendly welcome and a beautifully presented room exceeded our expectations. Clean and tidy. Breakfast was a choice of cereals, yogurts, full English or vegetarian. No half measures here and filter coffee on request. Friendly staff. Local to the town just a brief 10 minutes walk, no more. Free parking So good and so reasonable, we overpaid as a Gracia of our pleasant experience. So good, we've booked again for next month!!

Beautiful building - free parking and easy to find - set just outside of the village of Hayfield. Fabulous setting and very handy for local walks of which there are many. The landlady, Carol, was a real character. Very cheerful and helpful and friendly. She really made the stay to be honest. It’s nice when a personality can add to your visit and hers def did. Breakfast was lovely and a great choice. I look forward to returning

A wonderful host, Carol who was very friendly and pleasant. Room was great - extremely comfy beds, lots of pillows; lovely touches like the little teapot/cups, fresh milk offered for drinks. Blackout linings in the curtains which was great. We were also able to leave the cars in the car park for our last morning after we checked out, which was really kind and helpful. Location was fabulous, right on the Sett Valley Trail and 10 mins walk into Hayfield. Can walk straight up Kinder Scout too so no need to find parking which was useful.
