All the staff were very friendly, informative and fun. The food was nice and the public areas cosy and comfortable. Location is good for exploring the island just on the edge of the village next to the priory.

Staff were pleasant and professional, on site food and service was very good. The history of the Allanton Inn was a bonus, the host has captured this and makes it available to read in the comfort of you room.

Amazing little last min booking for us to stop on the way to Edinburgh airport to break up the drive. Cute set up, comfy bed, warm bedding, clean space, clean towels, car parking, bbq & wood for the bbq provided. Warm showers, power bank even provided! I loved every single thing about this place. Staff also very nice, welcoming and polite and helpful.
Very clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our short stay. Breakfast was excellent, as was the service from the helpful manager. Very central to the town .
Although on street parking requires a disc, free parking is only a 3 minute walk away and we were quickly directed to it.

VERY GOOD BREAKFAST,WITH A LOT OF CHOICE, AND THE POSITION OF THE HOTEL WAS GOOD, THE ONLY DOWN SIDE WAS THE PARKING, BUT THERE WAS FREE PARKING IN A PUBLIC CAR PARK CLOSE BY. EVENING MEAL WAS ALSO GOOD.
