Location was superb, away from any noisy traffic and set in huge beautiful gardens. About 5 miles from Sidmouth, a lovely small seaside town, definitely worth visiting.
The owners were wonderful, friendly and helpful in every way we could have wanted and looked after us brilliantly.
Terrific breakfasts.
The owners also had two lovely friendly black Labrador dogs who greeted us often when we parked our car.

Absolutely perfect holiday let. Better than the pictures. Clean, well decorated and furnished with nice attention to detail; quiet and very functional. Situated at a perfect location in Beer. Easy parking nearby. Great host.
Good location, pub opposite. On-street parking opposite (unsure of permitted hours, but pay car park nearby). Friendly host. Great breakfast served in café (part of property). Host was chef and former chef of pub opposite. Nice walk down to beach and fishing boats.
Loved the location, close enough to the beach to walk to in our swimming kit. Good pub for food just across the road. Free parking in two car parks. Room was very comfortable.
An exceptionally clean room (the blue room) and ensuite, very well organised with good facilities. A very nice touch was the bottle of BucksFizz, red wine, bottled water, chocolates on the beds! Location excellent and opposite a large car park for free parking. Only two minutes walk to the beach with restaurants within walking distance. Check in was very easy, keys left in the porch. The planters around the building were very colourful and showed a lot of care.
The location of this property is excellent, being very close to the centre of Beer. The added bonus is a parking permit to allow free parking in the public car park which is close by. The rooms are cleaned on request, every day if required, including replenishment of tea, coffee, milk, hot chocolate, biscuits and water. We requested - and received - this service every day. Bere, itself, if a very beautiful village, with lovely walks right on the doorstep and the beach, though pebbly, is a lovely place to sit and chill out.
The location can't be beaten as it is right in the center of Beer, with the free parking located opposite in a public car park. The room was clean with a large en suit. The complimentary bottle of Bucks Fizz and 1/2 bottle of red wine was a nice touch as were the tea and coffee facilities.
There is public car park 5min walk away from hotel which was very reasonably priced - we left car over night parked ( free parking on road I think was only for 1 to 2 hours max). from hotel walk down to beach (2 min to beach). For us this place is good for one day visit to see most of what is available we then travelled onto next destination.
