Beautiful location, unique and characterful. Staff were very friendly and went the extra mile to make our stay very nice indeed. A nice touch was a happy birthday banner for my wife's 50th at the breakfast table, which was a wonderful view over the sea and cliff water powered train which we also went on. Great place to stay!
Built into the hillside above the village of Lynton, the Sinai House is set in a 1850s house featuring a fully licensed bar.

We liked everything about Sinai House
Alison and Vic were delightful hosts
The dining room had views of the garden where you could watch lots of different birds at the feeders or a sea view. Breakfast was amazing. There was so much choice and plenty of it. Breakfast was beautifully presented. The lovely little jars of honey were produced by their own honey bees
The room was very nice, very clean and comfortable with lovely sea views. Tea coffee and biscuits were topped up each day and FRESH milk was provided in a flask The bath/shower room was very well equipped with toiletries and towels

Beautiful tranquil place. Very relaxing and so comfortable. The treat at the bottom of the garden is the Woody Bay Steam Train Station. What a lovely place to visit minutes from your room. Wow! The place was easy to find and close to Lynmouth and Lynton. Daisy is so friendly and welcoming. Perfect
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Location was more remote than anticipated but, great for walkers and people with dogs, as in just a few minutes walk you are on open moorland with beautiful views.
The cottage was spacious, clean and very well equipped with a lovely little enclosed garden. Beds, settee and chairs were all comfortable. Good parking on site.
Owners Barbara and George live next door, were welcoming but not intrusive.
