Excellent service from start to finish. Great communication from Margaret. Room ready on arrival so little bit early check in. Belated Anniversary trip and we got a nice bottle of prosecco off Margaret which was lovely. Room is very spacious, plenty off seating to chill out and take in the scenery. Comfortable bed. large shower. mini fridge with welcome pack and breakfast in your room. Plenty to choose from as we are vegetarian. Will defo be back and thanks to Margaret for a fab stay.

Room was lovely. Pub/restaurant area downstairs was also great. Food was really nice (definitely pre-book a table for dinner). Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Plenty of parking. Will definitely come back.

Parking was easy. The flat is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The bed is comfy and the blinds work really well, so it's nice and dark. The bathroom is great - loads of space to put stuff, as well as hooks and hangers. The kitchen was really well-equipped - we even found a bottle stopper ;) Lovely to get a little welcome from the hosts, too.
Fantastic location. Very quiet. Lovely big river at the back and a balcony to view it; also another balcony at the front.
Set in a beautiful wooded valley, full of heritage. The old Ironworks was in the car park and could be easily viewed. Opposite was the Windermere and Haverthwaite Heritage Railway that went past several times a day. Good view, especially from the apartment but also it was not disturbing in any way - just a pleasure to see. The apartment was very modern, clean and had everything you needed for a holiday. Good WiFi too.
