Couldn't fault a thing! First of all, the room was comfortable, incredibly clean and had everything we needed. The facilities were great - there was an honesty bar, comfy library, lots of information and help deciding what to do. The breakfast was just lovely - cereals, pastries, yoghurts etc and a fabulous freshly cooked breakfast using lovely produce. Best of all though were Mike & Debbie our hosts. They simply couldn't do enough. As it was my friend's birthday the day we arrived, I asked them to get a bottle of champagne in (which they did), and to book us a table for dinner. Mike took care of letting the restaurant know it was my friend's birthday and organising candles etc with dessert (the Red Lion - they were fabulous too!), we were running late as we we were caught in traffic, so he changed our table time for us and even us dropped us off because we didn't have time to walk as planned. It's a great base for exploring Avebury and surrounding areas. Thankyou both for such a wonderful stay! :-)

The property was perfect for a quiet weekend stay in the countryside. The views were wonderful. We got to watch some stunning sunsets from the deck and through the bedroom windows. The bedroom overlooks local fields, so one gets to hear birds singing in the morning and evening, which was lovely.
