Having decided we wanted to spend our wedding anniversary exploring the North Devon coastline, we then spent time searching for the perfect place to stay. We saw the Pyne Arms was available and decided to go for it. And we do not regret the decision. The owners were very accommodating about our late dinner booking as we spent more time out on the sea than planned. The room was spacious and well-furnished - and we very much appreciated the little gift that was left for us. Dinner was great - we both had the curry - and breakfast (served between 8am and 9am) was generous, well-presented and exactly what we needed. There are only two rooms with the neighbouring room also suitable for dogs. Our fellow guests had a dog with them but we did not hear anything through the night which was peaceful with the Pyne Arms' setting being in the Devon countryside. The room overlooks a road but traffic, as you would expect, is minimal. It is very well priced and would highly recommend the Pyne Arms to couples looking for a getaway within a few miles of Combe Martin and Ilfracombe.

Jayne was great from the start- communication was smooth and helpful.
We checked in much later than we’d planned due to traffic, but we kept her updated and she greeted us with warmth.
She also does a fantastic breakfast! If we hadn’t been tight on time, we would definitely have had seconds!
