We absolutely fell in love with Orchard Cottage. We have stayed in many holiday cottages, but this is the most beautiful little house we've been to. Sitting in the conservatory in the morning, watching the sunrise over the beautiful landscape, the red kites... a cup of coffee and nothing else matters... The spotlessly clean little house offers everything you need, cosy beds, two cosy chairs in the living room and a perfectly equipped kitchen with an aga. We recommend the peaceful Waterperry Gardens and restaurant. Thank you to Vanessa and Richard for inviting us to the wonderful "Open Pub" in the beautiful St. Mary's church. We loved meeting you and the neighbours. We'll be back soon!

Breakfast was not included, but Emma left everything you could need. Homemade bread was defiantly the icing on the cake. We had a problem with the shower the night before we left, both Emma and her husband were there straight away to try and sort the problem. It couldn't be fixed that night, which was not a major problem, Poor Emma was genuinely apologetic about it and even brought wine to say sorry.

The place was very clean and had lots of space. Snacks and breakfast were provided as well. The hosts were very friendly and parking is available. Very well kept back garden.

The most wonderful location; placed beautifully with stunning vistas all around and as guests we were able to observe the every day workings of the stables and feel immersed in the full country living experience. The barn itself is spacious with an extremely high spec and attention to details to ensure we felt at home, such as a welcome platter on arrival, supply of table tennis equipment and wooden blankets and logs for the wood burner to ensure we were cosy when the temp outside dropped. There is nothing we would change about the house and have booked already to return next year!

This was an incredible experience! A complete highlight of our whole trip. The grounds of the manor, our bedrooms, the little street it is set on and the breakfast the next morning. Can't recommend enough!!!
