We liked everything about the Star Inn room. It was clean and looked good. The location was good, near Fort George and only a bus journey away from Inverness. we used our bus passes! The en suite bathroom was good, even had bathrobes provided. As well as tea making facilities there was a little fridge in the room. There were plenty of choices available for breakfast in The Star Inn across the road from our room. We enjoyed the full Scottish and smoked fish breakfasts on offer. There was a wide range of fruit and other breakfast options available. We enjoyed our evening meal there too. We would like to highly recommend The Star Inn and its staff.

Wow this property is a big fat 10/10. Fabulous hosts, Dawn and Bill are wonderful and could not be more helpful. The accommodation is fantastic, we were given eggs from their hens and supplied with milk, bread, butter,coffee, t bags, sugar etc. You could help yourself to the wine and prosecco and replace before leaving ... a fantastic idea. Lots of toiletries and the towels were so thick and cosy, beds were very very comfortable. The garden is amazing, our two dogs just loved the freedom to run around and play, they slept like babies every night. We were encouraged to go and pick our own strawberries, they were delicious, what a lovely touch. There were sheep which we loved to visit every day and got great pictures. I have never stayed is such a wonderful setting and we were so near to Nairn beach which is flawless and Inverness where you have lots of shops and restaurants. I would love to say a huge thank you to Dawn and Bill for making our stay so relaxing and the fact that they had three great dogs which our dogs just loved to interact with.
