Room was a good size and in pretty good condition. They also use a lot of sustainable toiletries. We were also told well in advance that the nearest restaurant is only open for a couple hours in the evening, so we were able to plan accordingly and we appreciated the heads up.

A fabulous highland gem. There's B&B's, then there's Ardenlea. Catriona and Andrew have a beautiful welcoming, cosy space, the far exceeded our expectations. I was very pleasantly surprised by the Lochalsh Hotel. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The room had great views across to the Isle of Skye and the Skye Bridge. I ate in the hotel - the food was very good. The hotel is very dog friendly. The location is great - right in the heart of Kyle of Lochalsh. The room wasn't modern by any standards, but was clean, comfortable and sizeable. I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel and would definitely return for another visit.

Really lovely lady behind the counter extremely helpful. Even put the heating, were freezing bikers in need of some heat after experiencing the standard Scottish summer!
The room we were in (double room private bathroom) was really comfortable, very clean.
The facilities such as dry room, kitchen, lounge and shared bathroom (we were with others who had shared bathrooms) were fab, very clean and we truly were comfortable.
Parking right outside encourage making it feel very safe.
The views were simply amazing
Beautifully appointed B and B, with cozy, clean and comfortable rooms. The hosts thought of many little extras that travelers might need ( eg. drinks in fridge to purchase, info booklet with maps of local walks). The breakfast was delicious with hot cooked to order options and continental selections as well. The garden area and deck outside of the dining area was lovely. Super nice hosts that shared great suggestions on what to do and see in the area. Plenty of parking. Our party of four would all recommend this B and B!
Very friendly welcome to an exceptionally clean, well organised hostel. Lots of space for parking, cooking, bike storage etc. Perfect location for exploring the Applecross peninsula. Will definitely stay here again!
A cyclist's paradise! After pedalling over the Belach na bar pass in the driving rain, I was met with a warm welcome, fluffy towel, great room, brilliant shower, indoor parking for my bike, endless cups of tea and a drying room for all my sodden gear. It was a great stay and I'm very grateful for the facility and the lovely staff who run it.
