The guys who worked there were friendly and helpful and very welcoming. The food was delicious and came really quickly which was great as we were eating before going out to meet friends. The pub had a friendly feel. The pub was well set out downstairs and upstairs our room was clean and well equipped with a nice bed, coffee/tea and ensuite shower. It was excellent value for money.

Easy, very easy check in, we arrived late so super accommodating. I love the fact it’s away from the house right at the back of garden. Two separate room that’s comprised of a bedroom, kitchen and lounge area with a separate toilet and shower.

The location was excellent with easy access to the local area and nice surroundings.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The shower was super powerful. Nice decor. The little town was lovely. Breakfast was very yummy. Great free parking with plenty of space. Bed was comfy.
Friendly welcome from helpful staff. Stayed in ground floor Bailey Room in new part at back of main hotel which was compact and clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. Good location, I was working in High Wycombe, great to walk around Amersham in the evening and a comfortable bed and warm welcome on arrival, breakfast was also excellent! And ample car parking.
The accommodation is above possibly the best pub I've been in. Welcoming, well priced food, descent beer, great atmosphere. Just great.
The room was clean & tidy. The bed was comfy. The place is a bit quirky so don't expect a standard boring hotel chain. It's full of character, as you might expect in a 500 year old pub.
The town/village is delightful too. Well worth a stroll around.
