The staff, location, style of property and food was incredible. One of the best breakfast's I have had. Staff on check in were incredibly helpful. Make sure you order a glass of wine too as their wine is incredible!

Super staff team, especially friendly Sarah. A warm welcome, lovely well-equipped room, freshly decorated, clean and with good bedding and towels, plus hospitality tray etc.

The staff were very friendly. Sarah was particularly helpful in guiding me to a FREE parking area. Alfriston is not particularly large and free overnight parking can be an issue. Our evening meal of local sausages and mash was very good and reasonably priced. The closeness of Alfriston to the Rathfinny Wine Estate.
We loved the position of la Rose Cottage, right in the heart of the village. It is beautifully decorated. Is very well equipped. Actually, the best equipped airb&b we have stayed in! It’s comfortable and cosy. (Though as we were there for our sons wedding in the village church. We had a lot of family dipping in and out at all times. )
The free parking ticket was such a lovely thought too. Thank you.
Walker's Rest is a very nicely furnished, comfortable flat with everything you need. Handy to have off-street parking and it's set in a beautiful location close to lovely walks. The host is lovely, responded quickly and a neighbour was also on hand for any practical help.
