Everything was perfect: Marion is a gentle and attentive hostess, she gave us very clear information to reach the place, a cozy b&b, surrounded by a beautiful garden. The breakfast (we tried English and continental breakfast) was homemade and it was delicious! We could eat in a marvelous pavilion in the garden. She gave us advises about a very good restaurant on our way to Glencoe.

Tony was the perfect host.
Stayed for only one night, but it was the ideal way to start our vacation. Upon arrival, Tony gave us a friendly tour of our room, which was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast was fantastic and exceeded our expectations.
The surroundings were beautiful, giving us the feeling of being on a farm, immersed in the charming Scottish countryside. The peaceful environment truly made our stay unforgettable.
Highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a relaxing and authentic Scottish experience

The position of this hotel is superb with bankside views across The Lake of Menteith. There are outdoor tables to sit at and the restaurant area looks out over the lake. There is ample car parking and the hotel is easy to get to being only a few minutes from the M9 or a 20 minute journey from Stirling railway station. Even Glasgow is not that far away. The rooms are of ample size although many do not face the lake. There is a residents lounge area plus a bar that is open to the public along with the restaurant area.
Choice of varied fried breakfast, some cereals, yoghurts and fruit. Perhaps introduce bran choice. Staff were excellent. Couldn't do enough. A credit to the forth inn. 🙂 Great location for getting about and plenty of free parking spaces.
Spa facilities were lovely, very clean and great jacuzzi. Free parking was good. Bedrooms were ok and had tea and coffee facilities. Wifi was exceptional which was great as the area has absolutely no phone reception. Loved the speaker in the toilet so you can listen to music whilst having a bath/shower. Scott Anderson is a great staff member and also the guy on the desk at the spa was extremely helpful and informative. Its great that they are also dog friendly.
Huge self catering apartment with panoramic views across the Loch. Well furnished with tidy, practical kitchen. Spa centre was excellent. Loads of onsite car parking. Spacious well landscaped grounds, great for simply strolling round.
This is a great hotel. The road leading to it is good (and occasionally single lane). The hotel is nestled in the forest, minutes away from the lake, and has plenty of free parking.
The room was clean, big, with all amenities and a big window. Staff taking care of rooms were brilliant - helpful and efficient.
Special thanks to Scott, Joseph and all their restaurant/ kitchen colleagues whose names we didn't catch.
My husband arrived early while owner was cleaning. She allowed him to leave things in the fridge, and showed him the key system and the residents-only parking. Very welcoming, with wine and shortbread. Instant response when we texted with a query. Handy nearby free parking. Amazing value for such a good-sized apartment.
No wonder this place has such a high rating. it’s basically a perfect Scottish bnb. Comfy, clean, amazing interiors, well kept, with amazing facilities, views, warm and straightforward host and top location. Parking lot, lounge area and outside space is a fantastic bonus.
