Great self contained accomodation in a quiet place.
The place was clean, the bedrooms were a good size and so was the bathroom. The living area was joined by the kitchen which had enough space for us. It had a washing machine which was great as we got soaked one evening and didn't want our clothes smelling of damp.
It was good to have off road parking as the road did get full with cars at times.
The area was quiet considering the amount of traffic that went past and I liked watching the river flow at the side of the property. It had a few convenience stores and a couple of take aways. The train station is a few minutes walk and takes no time at all to travel to Merthyr Tydfil.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The house was spacious and comfortable, with on-street parking and everything we needed for a family visit to Wales. We enjoyed staying in a traditional Welsh village - a good base to explore the Brecon Beacons and Cardiff. The owner responded promptly to queries and was very helpful and accommodating. Thank you for a great stay!
