Location is fabulous. We arrived late evening and found it difficult to find but this was the only down. Full of characters property. Exellent service. Clean and comfortable. Enjoyed every second staying there. We travelled with our small dogs. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

This property was the first of our stays and it didn’t disappoint. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a superb breakfast and when we arrived we were made very welcome. It was out in the country which is what we wanted and the town was only a few kilometres away so we were able to get a good meal in the evening.

Nearby supermarche and lidl and a small selection of cafes and restaurants.
A great day out ride is to go to the nearby Mount Dore volcanic region.
Or just down the road and turn right for a hike up to the local ruined chateau, or left to a very rewarding riverside road...

Not a dislike so written here... I knew when booked that the restaurant was closed over the weekend he duration of my stay, but as above I was not limited in choices of evening meals.

Calm, sophisticated and relaxed. The owners Peter and Edith are exceptional hosts - they have that unique skill of being themselves and still providing a superb atmosphere for the guests. The Dansk Hygge was also very good - it was an environment which promoted the spirit of Hygge. The house has been sympathetically restored, respecting the old materials (the oak and tiles etc) whilst mixing old and modern Danish furniture and fabulous Scandinavian lighting and candles, which added to the charm.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
