We thoroughly enjoyed our week’s stay at Gite Hary. The village itself is very quiet but does have a bakery which is open most days, and the nearest supermarket is a short drive away. The Gite was perfect for our family of four and we had everything we could need. Although located at the back of the house, there is a walkway through to the garden and this didn’t cause any inconvenience. Garden, pool and seating area were peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were very discreet (and welcoming) and so it felt like our own private space. The train station was only 20 mins drive away and we took a train direct to Paris which was really convenient. Chateau Fontainebleau and Moret-sur-Loing were also a short drive away and were both worth a visit. I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if I was visiting the area.

Isabelle was a great host, she showed us her facilities and made us feel at home upon arrival. The swimming pool was clean and breakfast was delicious and laid out for us in the morning. An added bonus was her dog keeping us company so if you are a nature and an animal lover then this place is a must if stopping in France.

An excellent overnight stay after a long journey. The after hours key machine is a vast improvement on the previous machine being simple to use especially with English instructions. Though the beds were comfortable they were a bit small. Disappointed that there were no 'breakfast tea' in the room. Good variety and quality of foods for breakfast though again there were no English breakfast tea bags.
