Christopher is a true gentleman. He knows everything of everything, even his marmelade is better than José who has a restaurant down the road. Frederique is a wonderfull woman. Warm and friendly. The house is a very special place. You can feel the history the moment you come through the frontdoor, and become a part of it. The brother of Christopher occasionally visits and he is the funny one. He is sometimes very present, but if you make him laugh he is your friend forever. His jokes are the best on whole of Corse.. shiva the dog is an old soul. She watches over the house and its inhabitants. To visit La Marlotte is a true experience. It will make your life richer. Dont wait too long and make a reservation there. There is no time like the present!.

The property was spotlessly clean, new, fully equipped, with all possible accessories. Wonderful heated swimming pool with sunbeds and sun umbrellas. The outside area was spacious complete with BBQ, table chairs and deckchair. Overlooking farmland to the back and mountains to the front. We watched Kestrels, Red kites, Lizards and lots of other wildlife while we ate breakfast. Very close to miles of sandy beach which was not busy. Beach bars every mile or so.

Absolutely stunning! The location is incredible, you couldn’t wish for a more beautiful Mountain View. The food and wine is amazing and Jerome was a brilliant host. Can’t recommend enough!
