The property is a beautiful old stone French house which has been modernised. It was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. The location is so peaceful and I really enjoyed having a coffee in the garden in the morning sunshine, listening to the birds. We checked in late in the evening and Marie couldn’t be there so she sent photos of where to locate the key, with great instructions. She made sure to be there in the morning as we checked out, and it was lovely to meet her.

A delightful small gite on the edge of a charming town. Sonia lives next door and is available for any questions. Very easy to collect the keys on arrival (although you may have to telephone the host to get the code). The gite is very near the river and I was able to quickly walk to part of the river where the locals swim. Charming bistro in the middle of town. A short walk away is the local boulangerie. The gite has a well equipped kitchen with kettle and coffee making machine.

It was self catering, and kettle, microwave, shower, waste bucket liner, TV all worked well. It was quiet (Ruffec is not noisy anyway), had a car park space, and the arriving instructions were good. It was September - a good time to be there. Barrobjectif for one afternoon, and a sunflower field on the way there by taxi still lovely yellow heads.

I had the pleasure of staying at this charming accommodation in Nanteuil-en-Vallée, and it was a great experience. The room was lovely, spacious, and impeccably appointed, showcasing a tasteful and loving decor that made me feel right at home. The bathroom was excellent, and the bed was very comfortable. The view of the ancient church from my window was lovely. Nanteuil-en-Vallée itself is one of the prettiest villages in South-West France, enhancing the overall charm of the location. The owners, Alex and Jenny, were exceptionally welcoming and made me feel like a valued guest. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a delightful and memorable stay.

Lovely place on the river Iin an idyllic village location. Hostess Roxanne is a delight. Great breakfast and secure parking. Seriously impressive character property with all mod cons.
Beautiful house about a 10 minute walk from the centre of the charming village . Lovely welcome from Dominique who makes you immediately feel at home. Ample parking and not far from the main N10 route if heading south towards Bordeaux or north towards the Loire. Ample breakfast and a boiled egg from Dominique's own hens. Highly recommended and excellent value for money.
Friendly and very helpful welcome. Superly clean, Room facilities and standard of devour and furnishing higher than most 4 star hotels.
In middle of village close to a couple of resuarants one being almost Michaline star.
Easy access also and nearby parking is safe. Will definately book again.

The room was beautifully decorated with a sunken jacuzzi bath. Very clean and comfortable round bed. Parking very convenient in the courtyard with gorgeous stone work. Great location for the mill (as seen on TV) and local restaurant.
Everything. Such a lovely, beautifully furnished and beautifully clean chamber d’hote. Very warm welcome from the owner. Large comfy room with everything you need, modern spotless bathroom. Easily accessible parking. Pretty little village. Great breakfast. Just can’t fault this place at all.
The property is in a good location, in the beautiful village of Verteuil. There is free parking available, and it is only a short walk to the restaurants, bars and river.
5 minutes to the N10 so great stop off Place.
