Pared back luxury in a former Abbey. Best of all you get access to Fontevraud Abbey after hours until just gone midnight. Food was excellent and eaten in the former cloister.

The decor was stylish. The accommodation is on a busy road but we were not bothered by noise and the bedroom is at the back so there was no noise. There was plenty of lighting. There is a supermarket a short walk away. There were bottles of cold water in the fridge.
With a garden, Le Petit Hureau is set in Saumur and provides free WiFi. A tennis court can be found just 100 metres away. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony.

Comfortably apartment in a good location. Had everything needed. Lovely old building. Parking was straight forward.
La Folière is located 5km from the charming town of Saumur. It is an authentic 19th century longère in tufa, with a 4000m2 wooded park and private parking.

We had the small guestroom, with one large bed downstair, two other beds upstairs. The house was very good, clean, and we were very well welcomed. There is a good size swimming pool and games for the kids to play in the garden.
Breakfast very good.
Quiet area.
Note that the stairs of the guestroom are quite steep but it did not pose much trouble for us.
