This was one of the best stays and experiences in my life. The owners have done an amazing job of getting this castle back to being what it would have been and the collections are fantastic. a truly beautiful stay with amazing views, history and intrigue - quite a few secrets can be found here and we absolutely loved it. fabulous breakfast and the hosts are simply the best. I will be going back and taking family there for sure.

Went to a wedding at the nearby chateaux and walked back to the Ruolottes des Ris for the night. We had a lovely welcome when we checked in, helped by google translate. The breakfast was delivered exactly when we asked for it, a basket containing croissants and bread, jams, yoghurt, plums, coffee and orange juice all of which were really good. The accommodation was clean and the bed was very comfy. We didn't really use the kitchen so cannot comment on that. Unfortunately the weather was poor so we couldn't use the outsdide seating but would have loved to relax on the recliners. We really enjoyed the whole atmosphere of the site, certainly a different experience.

This is such an awesome house. It is rustic and full of real character. Location is peaceful and quiet and just 10 minute drive away is the ”Centre de la France”. If you are planning a stay in the area definitely consider Maison du jardinier.
