We’ve stayed here to celebrate our anniversary for the past couple of years. The rooms are excellent and the whole ambiance of the hotel is superb. The restaurant is first class and although not the cheapest is worth every penny. The staff are great and cater for your every need. All in all it is a wonderful place to stay.

From the moment we arrived early evening until we left in the morning, the whole experience was WONDERFUL! The cottage was lovely, eccentric, cozy, clean! The grounds were incredible and very fun to explore on a hike. The meal in the Auberge was absolutely FABULOUS and will be remembered for more than a long time. Stargazer is an exceptionally welcoming and wonderful place to stay offering the best of both local exploration and a place to escape and relax. First we had breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen with views out over fields and beyond. We spent our days exploring the local area and further afield and late in the afternoon returned to relax in the pool before heading out to one of the many excellent restaurants a short drive away. It didn't end there. On our return we sat on comfortable hanging chairs and gazed at the stars until it was time to turn in. There was nothing we didn't like. A lot of careful thought had been put into making this into a beautiful, well-appointed and relaxing place to stay.
