Our host, William, was extremely welcoming and we enjoyed our chats with him. Our room was very spacious and beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable.
The house and grounds of the property have been tastefully maintained and imaginatively transformed.
We opted for the table d'hote - the food was delicious and accompanied by well matched wine.
We would be more than happy to return if visiting this region of France in the future.

location, quietness, nice and cool inside on a very hot day. Lovely pool. very hospitable host. Easy parking and secure for our bikes which were on the car as we were about to cycle La Flow Velo cycle route from Thiviers.
Great location within walking distance of the market square of Thiviers. The room was very comfortable and in our particular room the bathroom evoked the charm of early 1900's Art Nouveau France. Plenty of car parking space available in front of the hotel or in the private car park behind. The Wifi bandwidth was good and English TV available in our room.
Due to the extremely hot weather a fan was provided in the room, which helped a bit.
The breakfast was satisfactory.
Parking on site was available.
There was a swimming pool, but it was too hot to sit out in the sun, we experienced temperatures close to 50 degrees centigrade while we were there.
As well as a pot of coffee on the breakfast table, a recently boiled kettle was also present. This allowed me to make a pleasant bowl of tea.
Great location, free parking on the road in front of hotel, nice period property, comfortable and clean room and bathroom, nice size room, great restaurant (separate ownership) onsite.
