We liked everything! We didn't expect it to be such a marvelous place. Have we known it in advance, we would have spent more time, instead of stopping by just for one night.
It is great suite with separate rooms and a kitchen with access to the garden and serene nature setting. The accommodations provide for everything you need to feel comfortable. It even has a library (but you need to read French).
It is peaceful and quiet and there is a village near by to get the necessities.
The hosts are very responsive and friendly, so this is a definite gem. If we ever drive in the area again we will book it for longer.

Our third stay in this chateau, so you can guess we like it ! We ate in the restaurant on both evenings, and enjoyed exceptionally good meals with friendly service. Breakfast was slightly disappointing, with empty trays of the two warm items though more was added upon request. For comparison, the hotel we moved on to the following day had an extensive breakfast menu of hot and cold items, and at a lower price - though the décor and grandeur of the chateau's facilities are top class.

The location was perfect. The room was very spatious and light. The bed was excellent - loved it.
The breakfast was delicious. Every day it was slightly different. Nice suprise.
We were able to use the fridge which was helpfull.
