The location is very peaceful and genuinely remote and the view towards the Tarn Gorge is truly magnificent. The hosts, Cecile and Fabrice, are very generous, welcoming and kind (as were their chickens...). The property is certainly set up with summer outdoor living in mind - pool, terrace, garden, outdoor games. There is great walking available across the Raspes du Tarn and Grands Causses area, with a shaded walk to Asseynes itself (and the nearest bar/ restaurant, which also offers a very friendly welcome.....) possible in an hour from the property itself.
