The breakfast was great and the guests were encouraged to make full use of the place. the communal rooms were large and comfortable and there was a big TV off in another area to watch the Olympics.

The host was utterly charming and we enjoyed chatting with her over breakfast. She was helpful in directing us to the nearest supermarket. There was a pool that looked very inviting but we hadn’t packed swimming costumes so we couldn’t use it. We were allowed to put our ice packs in the freezer. The facilities were perfectly adequate.

This is what I would call a no frills, business or overnight hotel. The rooms were small and just had the basic requirements, however it was clean. The air conditioning worked very well. The breakfast was basic but again satisfactory. There is a lovely restaurant situated next door to the hotel, just a short walk out of the hotel's large car park. It's called 'Restaurant Le Drugstore' which seems odd but the food is good with very helpful staff who helped us with the translation of the menu.
Nice place when traveling by car. Friendly staff and comfortable beds. The parking is secure enough and trustable during the night and we had no security issues.
The location is a short distance from a lovely town. easy access to roads in all directions. Quiet rural area. Intermarche less than 4 km. Close to Vichy, Montlucon. Hosts very accommodating regarding arrival. Farm produce (vegetables, fruits, cheese, wine) offered at excellent prices and quality. Well-stocked kitchen, ample towels. Washing machine and dishwasher. All cleaning supplies provided. Secure gated parking. Fans in all rooms. Ground floor nice and cool and comfortable.
