The host was so very welcoming, friendly and super helpful, she couldn't have done more. I was made to feel special.
Although I hadn't booked an evening meal in advance and I was the only guest, I was offered a meal which was splendid. The property is absolutely spotless, very clean and tidy. A magnificent property, beautifully restored to the highest level. A lovely breakfast too. I can not speak highly enough of the host nor the residence. Splendid. Very highly recommended. Thank you Gaell, you are a star. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

This was a stay that exemplified the "Accueil" of people in this region of southern France in particular. Accueill is more than just " Welcome"- there isn't really a full translation in English, but Viviane was the personification of this approach. You are staying in Viviane's home, and it is an excellent oportunity to speak with her as you enjoy a breakfast on the terrace, overlooking the stunning views from her house on the hill. This is not a typical hotel stay-you are a guest in Viviane's home, and as such, this was a unique opportunity to enjoy intelligent discourse and mutual respect from an intelligent and articulate person. Eggs are fresh, and a rare blue, from her neighbours garden, and the whole breakfast was healthy and organic- and the fig liquer was an aromatic treat. From the evening before, not for breakfast ! Also Viviane was most helpful when I left my glasses there and was readily contactable whilst I arrangedmy return. Accueil is a way of life- my experience of hospitality and generosity in that area of France has been a stand out aspect of my holiday. I recommend a stay at Viviane's- it is indeed a Petit Paradise!

Everything. The Dutch hosts were marvellous and had literally thought of absolutely everything to make the accommodation and your stay simply perfect. They are masters of their game, helpful, interesting, friendly and extremely sociable. The rooms are immaculate.
A super quiet location, if it's peace and quiet you're after then this is the place to go.
And, if it's important to you, take note - the WiFi is the BEST I've encountered in the previous 15 hotels and B&Bs I've been staying in over the past 3 weeks. Amazing signal and super fast. Bravo Villa d'illouvre 🤗

Gorgeous guesthouse in the centre of the village overlooking the river. Plenty of parking and dining options nearby. We accessed local walks, hikes and swimming. Rhianne and Chris were so accommodating and gave us lots of recommendations.
