After spending a full day travelling on busy French 'Peage', arriving at l'hacienda felt like being welcomed into an oasis of peace and quite. The very friendly host opened the gates for us, showed us our rooms, breakfast room, swimming pool and certainly made us feel welcome. The kids loved the pool, all the little ornaments and decorations both in and outside the wonderfull house.
I really appreciated the personal touches throughout the sprawling villa. This is no cookie cutter airbnb apartment, and a lot of time, effort and taste has gone into making this someone's home.
Added bonus was a very generous personalised breakfast, and the lovely animals in and around the house.
Surrounded by forest and green fields, this hotel offers an outdoor swimming pool. You can sample grilled dishes on the terrace or visit Mont-de-Marsan, a 2-minute drive away.

Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice and all very fresh, the staff were lovely. My daughter left her teddy behind, the staff found it and kept it safe until we were able to stop in on our way home to collect it. The beds were a good size and the room was comfortable, it was really quiet too which was nice.

Nothing as my stay was spoilt by being charged twice for my stay and I am still awaiting a refund plus the difficulty gaining access to the hotel.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Superfriendly and helpful host. Good location for a car-driver and parking place for a car. Fighter jets are a nice bonus to watch and listen (Air base a couple of kilometers away). Sunny balcony. Would return.
