This picturesque home provided the French country experience we were hoping to have! The host was very welcoming and friendly. He took the time to meet us around our changing plans. He responded to our multiple questions before arrival. Upon arrival, he took the time to fully explain the use of the home, location of activities in the community, and he used a translator program to make sure we understood his English! He made sure we could contact him if we needed anything. Because we arrived around the holiday, the host also called ahead to the castles in the area to find out which ones were open. The home was well-appointed and had everything we needed for our extended stay. The gardens around the home were really beautiful for picture-taking and enjoyment. Saint-Martin-le-Beau was an interesting little town with several wonderful bakeries. Our goal of our stay was to show our adult daughters the French countryside and they LOVED their stay. The parking was safe, away from the street. The listing on the Booking website was accurate. As budget travelers, we were delighted that there was an option for us to clean before leaving to save money to be used elsewhere on our trip. We would have liked to have stayed longer and hope we can return again to relax in this quiet, little town!

quiet place on the middle of the main castles and points to see. very freandly owners. we really loved this place.

Stephanie was waiting for us at the location to give us keys on arrival and show us around which was very helpful. She was in regular communication to ensure that we are comfortable.

The location is amazing, it is really quiet and sourounded by trees so you feel like you are actualy staying in the middle of the forest. There is a small playground and a trampoline for children which was really appreciated. The house is cosy and we didn’t miss anything while we were there. Also hosts are really nice. :)

The lady proprietor was very helpful. There is no bar at the hotel, but there is a sitting area with a free wine and a fridge to put your own beer in. The breakfast was very present and well presented.

I was the only guest and the property had a lovely garden and a dining area where I could sit. The property is also very close to the town of Amboise which is delightful. The hostess was also very welcoming and accommodating.
