Lovely rural location, peaceful and quiet set in its own spacious grounds. We had the deluxe room which was a large airy room with comfortable chairs to relax in and have a coffee. Very comfortable bed and en suite shower room. Dawn made us a fabulous breakfast of eggs, toast and jam and croissants

By coincidence we came across this facility and it had everything we were looking for: Fully equiped so we could enjoy our meals 'at home' (restaurants are equally hard to be found in the area), good beds, a spacious living area and a nice terrace, allowing us to enjoy the evenings outside. What more could one wish?

Good location in middle of the village. The owners were so welcoming and could not do enough for us. The accommodation was spotless, very homely and comfortable and we didn’t want for anything. Would certainly recommend this to family and friends.

Le Puy Notre-Dame is a very tiny village in the middle of the vineyards. Le Chai de la Paleine is the perfect location to explore the area, but also for business trips. Rooms are comfortable, wifi efficient, the owner was helpful in finding a restaurant in the nearby town of Doué-la-Fontaine. Highly recommended!
