A La bonne étape is in Sassenay just off the EV6. I spent one comfortable night there while in a cycle tour. The space is clean and had everything I needed, the breakfast was delicious and the hosts are very welcoming. It is a beautiful area and the only downside was the rain while I stayed

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Very welcoming from Isabelle when we arrived and she was very keen to make sure our stay was good and anything we needed was sorted. She made us feel that her home was ours for the 2 nights stay.
We had a day in the sun in the rear garden and had a relaxing time in what is a quiet part of the town.
Plenty of safe parking behind electronic gates and enclosed perimeter wall surrounding the Chateau.
A perfect stop over whilst driving through France with a nice twist of french living …. G+T…..
